National events planned for the Day of Immunology in Croatia

Croatian Immunological Society in collaboration with National TV station (HRT) produced a set of scientific reports of selected topics of Immunology that will be presented each Friday during April 2005.

The topics are: Allergy (Alenka Gagro, MD, Ph.D), Infectious diseases and vaccination (Alemka Markotić, MD. Ph.D.), Cell transplantation (Drago Batinić (MD. Ph.D), Mucosal immunity (Zlako Trobonjača, MD. Ph.D). Molecular immunology ( Bojan Polić, MD. Ph D.), All presenters were selected among prominent young Croatian scientists in the respective field with the aim to popularize the newest scientific achievements as well as results obtained in Croatia.

On Friday 29.04.2005, there will be a TV-interview with Prof. Stipan Jonjic (present president) and Prof. Sabina Rabatić (former president) of Croatian Immunological Society. The main topic would be EFIS Initiative to celebrate the International day of Immunology on April 29, 2005.  and on this occasion we are planning to reproduce the film provided by EFIS.
