Irish Society for Immunology (ISI)
has organised a public lecture to be held in
The Royal Dublin Society, Dublin
on
April 28th, 7.30pm-8.30pm
to mark the
Day of Immunology.
This lecture will be given by Professor Denis Reen (Children's Research Centre, Crumlin, Dublin), a neonatal immunologist, and will be entitled
"How well are we protected against infections and allergies in early life?"
This lecture specifically aims to bring the area of neonatal
immunology to the attention of the Irish general public.
Professor Reen will also be presented with an award from the ISI for his contribution to the promotion of Immunology as a science Ireland.
